Wedding Photography: What to Shoot During the Wedding Preparation

To be able to produce your ideal wedding album, you must be able to express your needs and requests to your wedding photographer. Capturing the moments of your wedding day can be quite tricky. Shooting photos without a clear concept could result in plain and boring photos. To create a unique and memorable images of your wedding, pay attention to details. These are the things you should ask your photographer to shoot during the wedding preparation stage:

  • The soon-to-be bride in the morning. Make sure your photographer is there to capture the moments of "the very first day of the rest of your life". Wake up in the morning and do a little touch-up to retain your natural look, and take pictures together with your bridesmaids.
  • The make-up process. Watch the transformation of you into a beautiful bride in the next couple of hours.
  • The bridesmaids. Take photos of them with their dresses and a close up look at their dresses and hairdo.

  • The ring before it was presented at the wedding ceremony.

Make sure you combine the normal shots, some unique close-ups and ones taken from unexpected angles. It will create a whole different feel to your wedding photograph.
